MUSICAGORILLAZ will play three classic albums at special shows in London

Presentations mark the band’s 25th anniversary and follow the immersive exhibition House of Kong, celebrating their visual and sound legacy

THE Gorillaz He announced a series of four exclusive performances that will take place in London in late August and early September. In a mood of celebration for the band’s 25th anniversary, the shows will have a special format: the complete execution of the group’s first three studio albums.

The performances take place in the final stretch of immersive exposure HOUSE OF KONGin the Copper Box Arena, and each night will be dedicated to a classic album. On August 29, the band presents their debut album, Gorillaz (2001). On August 30, it is the turn of the celebrated Demon Days (2005). Already on September 2, the stage will be taken by Plastic Beach (2010). The sequence ends on September 3 with a “surprise show”, whose content has not yet been revealed.

In addition to the songs, each night will recreate the original visuals and formats of each era shows, providing a nostalgic trip to fans and reaffirming the audiovisual character that has always been a trademark of the project.

THE HOUSE OF KONG It is an installation that celebrates the band’s visual universe – including its virtual members, arts, stories and backstage behind the eight albums released so far.

Pre-sale of tickets for the shows will be exclusive for those who purchase entries for the exhibition until 23h (London time) on May 27th. These buyers will receive a unique code to access the pre-sale from 10am on the 28th. The general sale will open on May 30, through the band’s official website.

For now, these are the only live dates of Gorillaz announced for 2025. The shows mark the return of the singer Damon Albran to the project, after a meeting tour with the Blur in 2023 and the launch of your opera The Magic Flute IIwhich recently debuted in Paris. In a recent interview, Albarn also revealed to be working on a new album from Gorillaz.
