ECAD survey honors the singer with ranking of her most executed songs in the country in the last five years

In honor of the singer, actress, presenter and Brazilian businesswoman, who died last Sunday (20), the Ecad (Central Office of Collection and Distribution) has released an unprecedented survey with the most played and rewritten songs of his career in the last five years. The action is a symbolic way to reverence the artist’s importance for Brazilian music.
According to the report, Blackdaughter of Gilberto Gilleaves 12 copyright works and 271 recordings recorded at the base of the Ecadreflecting the diversity of its repertoire and the breadth of its trajectory as an interpreter. Among these recordings, the most executed was “Signs of Fire”composed of Ana Carolina and Totonho Villeroyone of the first great successes of the career of Blackwhich integrated the debut album Prêt-à-porter2003.
The ranking of Ecad He considers executions in different contexts of public use of music, such as radios, party houses, concerts and environmental sound. The survey reinforces the permanence of the songs of Black In the collective imagination, a presence that, according to the Copyright Law (Law 9610/98), will continue to yield fruits to his heirs for up to 70 years after his death or eventual co -authors of the bands.
