Funkeira value of the disputes held in the app and denounces the lack of transparency
Mc Mirella is leading a judicial battle with IFOOD after saying that she has blocked more than $ 10,000 without explanations in the digital portfolio of the application. The case obtained national repercussions not only for the value involved, but also for the absence of corporate responses to the artist attempts to recover access to money.
According to Mirella, the R $ 10,700 balance has been accumulated in different transactions and cancellations of orders on the platform. However, when he tried to use the amount for new purchases, he was surprised by the unavailability of resources – and no notice or justification was presented.
Unable to resolve the situation directly with the support of the platform, the singer has decided to bring the case to court. In the action, he underlines that the lack of explanations configures a violation of consumer rights and classifies the conduct of society as a negligent and disrespectful.
Mc Mirella again in the dispute
In addition to requesting the immediate release of the value, Funkeira has included in the process a request for compensation for moral damage for an amount of $ 30,000, citing the inconvenience and the stress caused by the episode. The request for an injunction for a rapid issue of the amount, however, was denied by the responsible judge on 7 July.
Since then, Mirella has appealed to the decision, but has not yet been successful. The balance remains maintained and the platform continues without publicly clarifying the reasons for the blockade. The artist maintains the action in progress and awaits a new evaluation of the judiciary.
The specialists of the consumer law listened to by the press vehicles underline that, in similar cases, the company has the legal obligation to justify any conservation of the values to the user and offer channels at affordable prices for the resolution of conflicts which, according to the singer, did not occur.
So far, the IFOOD has not officially commented on the process brought by Mc Mirella. The singer, in turn, received support on social networks of fans and colleagues from the artistic environment, which charge more transparency from the platform.
The case highlights a growing dissatisfaction with the digital service of large companies, in particular when involving the conservation of values. For consumers with apps accumulated in the apps, the situation is notified: even the platforms widely used can have serious communication and support failures.
Mc Mc Mirella’s legal team continues to try to reverse the unfavorable decision and new movements are expected to occur in the process in the coming weeks.
