One of the great symbols of national rock, the Made in Brazil It bears a brand that few artists in the world is pleased to celebrate: there are 58 uninterrupted years of activity. To celebrate, the band prepared two shows in Sesc Pompeiaon August 8 and 9, 2025. The party has the presence of guest artists and promises a true tribute to Brazilian music, the art and culture of the country – all packed by the power of rock ‘n’ roll.
Founded in 1967, in the neighborhood of Pompeii, in São Paulo, by the brothers Oswaldo “Rock” Vecchione and Celso “Kim” Vecchionethe Made in Brazil He crossed decades, fashions, market niches and political adversities without ever stopping. With a trajectory marked by resistance, irreverence and love for music, the band has established itself as one of the longest institutions in the history of Brazilian rock – and continues in full creative activity.
For this great celebration, the Made in Brazil receives on stage renowned names of national music, representing different aspects of our sound: on August 8 (Thursday) receives Frejat, Andreas Kisser and Lucinha Turnbull. Already on the 9th (Friday) invite the stage Dinho Ouro Preto and João Gordo.
In addition, the band invites former historical members, such as Caio Durazzo, Tony Babalu and Fábio Brumand important names of Brazilian rock, from the same scene as several generations, as Toni Campello, Luis Carlini (Tutti-frutti and Rita Lee), Sergio Hinds (The third) and Grandson (The incredible) – Reinforcing that this is more than a party of Made in Brazil: it is a celebration of Brazilian music and its artistic resistance.
The current training has Oswaldo Vecchione (low and voice) and nine more musicians on stage like: Guilherme Ziggy (guitar and guitar), Sol Blessa (Background and percussion vocals), Marcelo Frisoni (bass and guitar), Rick Vecchione (battery), Marcelo Chaves (guitar, guitar and bass) and BRUNO PETICOV LICO (piano and keyboards).
More than a show, this celebration is a tribute to the longevity of the Made in Brazil and to the creative force of national music. An event to get emotional, sing loudly and reverence who built and continues to write the history of Brazilian rock.
Over the course of these 58 years, the group has released 24 records, 6 DVDs, performed historic shows and faced with a built -in moments such as censorship in the military dictatorship, which banned one of its albums, and transforms the classic “Aquarela do Brasil” In a rocker anthem and take the stage with a war tank as a protest act. Always singing in Portuguese, the Made Never failed to exalt your Brazilian roots.
With more than 200 different formations and 131 musicians who have already undergone their ranks, the Made in Brazil requested the Guinness Book Recognition as the rock band with the largest number of formations and members of the world.
