Elton John pays tribute to Olivia Newton-John on social media

The legendary British singer and pianist Elton John paid tribute to the late Australian singer and actress Olivia Newton-John after learning of his death this Monday morning (8) after a long battle against breast cancer. Had 73 years old.

Elton John expressed his condolences to Olivia’s family and loved ones: “The saddest news to wake up to. Olivia was a beautiful and brave woman I have never heard of complaining about her illness. A beautiful voice and a warm and loving friend. I will miss her so much.”said the musician of 75 years old.

In 1980, Elton John And Olivia Newton-John came to perform on TV to sing the classic Candle in the windwritten by the singer and his lyricist, Bernie Taupinas part of the album Goodbye Yellow Brick road released in 1973.
