The countdown is over! THE PerifaCon 2025the biggest nerd convention in the favelas, takes place this weekend, October 25th and 26th, in São Paulo, promising to celebrate pop culture and peripheral creativity with intense and free programming. The event will bring together thousands of fans, artists and big names like Young Nerd, Podpah and Diva Depression. If you are planning to go or want to know what will happen, we have gathered here everything we know about the 5th edition of the event.
What is PerifaCon?
More than a fair, the PerifaCon is a movement that seeks to democratize access and value the production of nerd culture on the “edges of the city”. How the creator reinforced Andreza Delgadothe event rejects the view that the periphery is all about violence. “Perifacon, the way it was designed, only makes sense on the periphery”he states.
When and where does it happen?
The 5th edition will be held on the days October 25th and 26th (Saturday and Sunday), on Jardim São Luís Culture Factorylocated at Rua Antônio Ramos Rosa, 651, South Zone of São Paulo.
How much does it cost and how to participate?
The input is completely free. Tickets (which are used for crowd control) are now available and can be collected online through the platform Sympla.
What are the main attractions (Panels)?
The main stage, called Transpetro Theaterwill concentrate the big names. The biggest highlight is the dashboard Young Nerd for the launch of The Flesh Itselfhis first national horror film. The chat will be attended by the creators Alexandre Ottoni and Deive Pazosfrom the director Ian SBF and part of the cast.

What else will be at the event?
THE PerifaCon He doesn’t live on panels alone. The event will have several areas dedicated to different pillars of pop culture and the job market:
- Artists Alley: An expanded space that will welcome 170 independent comics, animation and literature artists from all over Brazil.
- Gamer Perifa: An area with around 50 game developer studios, as well as RPG and board game activities with the presence of COPAG.
- Perifa Employs (by BRQ): A space focused on training and opportunities in the job market. It will feature lectures on Artificial Intelligence, a panel “Come to Globo” about careers at the company, and business discussions with Sebrae.
- Stores and Exhibitions: Publishers such as Mino and Veneta will be present, alongside small entrepreneurs. There will be exhibitions such as Ancestral Narratives in Comics of Hugo Canuto.
- Autograph Sessions: The event will feature autograph sessions with Hugo Canuto, Fred Ouro Preto and Turma da Mônica.
