Singer Emmano dives into spirituality to release his new album, Turn leftwhich is now available on all digital platforms. This is the first volume of a double project dedicated to the diffusion of the faith and sacred songs of religions of African origin.
The new album arrives at a moment of great expansion in the artist’s journey, which has reached the finish line 200 thousand followers on Instagram and more than 10 million views in your videos on spirituality. Furthermore, Emmano has solidified a loyal base of listeners across the platforms, adding moreand 37 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify.
His credibility in the music scene is strengthened by collaborations with Helio Bentes (Point of equilibrium), Bruno Chelles (3030), Marcelo Mimoso AND Shawlin.
TO Emmanothe album is the realization of a spiritual mission: “It is an honor for me to be able to sing these points that have already brought me so much axé”, reveals the artist. “I learned to sing them by playing them in my local church and today it is an immense joy to be able to record and publish them to spread our faith.”
Emmano: the first volume of the new album is composed of seven songs
Consisting of seven songs, this first volume is entirely dedicated to the left-wing line, the Street people. The opening song, Block the streetscomposed of Marcelo Varandasets the tone for the work, bringing the spiritual energy of macumba dots that resonate through the terreiros of Brazil.
The project highlights the importance of greeting those who guard the paths: “This first album is a great homage to Povo da Rua”explains Emmano. “They are the ones who give us support, who teach us the strength of the earth. The title of the first song, ‘OWNER OF MY PATH,’ reflects what spirituality has taught me: our guides give us light and protection, but we are responsible for following our own journey.”
To translate the atmosphere of the terreiro into the recording, Emmano He had a strong team. The musical production is signed by Leo Batuke AND Thiago Jah Bassfrom the renowned Blessed studyconsidered one of the largest reggae studios in Brazil: “The biggest challenge was bringing the vibrant energy of terreiro into the studio,” details the singer. “Leo Batuke brought the soul of percussion, the sacred ‘leather’, and Thiago Jah Bass, with his mastery, was able to polish this sound with respect and power.”he concludes.
