Under the presentation of Anitta and Thalía, images of the singer were projected on the screen of the ceremony, to the sound of the song ‘Divino Maravilhoso’, which marked the career of the great Brazilian artist.
“A few days ago, an iconic figure passed away. Funny, unique and infinitely talented. We will miss you dearly and this show is for you. We will honor you with more songs. Gal, we will never forget you,” said Anitta, who also remembered the “Work Set Award”, which Gal Costa received at the 2011 Latin Grammy Awards.
THE 23rd edition of the Latin Grammys takes place on Thursday evening 17 and several Brazilian artists have already been awarded, including Ludmilla, Liniker, Alceu Valença and Erasmo Carlos.
