the pop star Taylor Swift deeply sorry for the technical problems related to the pre-sales of his new world tour The Tour of the Ages🇧🇷 The company responsible for selling tickets has had to deal with a “historical question” of fans who want to be at their shows.
“It goes without saying that I am extremely protective of my fans. We have been doing this together for decades and over the years I have brought home so many elements of my career. I have SPECIFICALLY done this to improve the quality of my fans experience doing this alone with my team, who care as much about my fans as I do.”started Taylor Swiftin an official statement.
“It’s really hard for me to trust an outside entity with these relationships and loyalties, and it’s painful for me just to watch mistakes happen without recourse. There are myriad reasons why people have had such a hard time getting tickets and I am trying to understand how this situation can be improved in the future. I am not going to make excuses for anyone because we asked, several times, if they could handle this kind of request and we were assured that they could”said the singer.
And he concluded: “It’s really amazing that 2.4 million people got tickets, but it really pisses me off that so many of them feel like they went through multiple bear attacks to get them. And for those who didn’t get tickets , all I can say is my hope is to provide more opportunities for all of us to come together and sing these songs. Thank you for wanting to be there. You have no idea how much that means.”
There were virtual queues that lasted more than 8 consecutive hours for patrons to purchase their tickets and Greg Maffeipresident of nation alivetold about the case in an interview with CNBC🇧🇷 “First of all, the entire Live Nation team empathizes with all the long waits (to get tickets) and fans not getting what they wanted. The reality of that is a function of the huge demand for Taylor Swift.”, said the executive. 🇧🇷The site was supposed to get 1.5 million verified Taylor Swift fans once it opened for sale, but we had 14 million people logging into the platform. Despite all the challenges and falls, we sold around 2 million tickets that day.”He explained.
And he concluded: “We could fill 900 stadiums.”
Scheduled for March 2023, the The Tour of the Ages in Taylor Swift will feature big names in rock and pop to open the shows, such as Paramore, HAIM, Phoebe Bridgersamong others.
