Ivete Sangalo celebrates Carnival in his new EP “Chega Mais”

The singer and songwriter Ivete Sangalo released this Thursday (19th) their new EP Come closeran invitation from the artist to everyone to celebrate one of the most important cultural festivals in Brazil, the Carnival. The album, which contains five original tracks, is now available on digital platforms through Universal Music.

The heat takes over the country, February is approaching and everyone thinks only of one thing: Carnival. After two years without the traditional festival, it returns in 2023 to the general happiness of the nation.

“It’s the Carnival repertoire. For the Carnival. Me telling the stories, the sensations I feel at Carnival. How I see Carnival, from a romantic, cultural, rhythmic and emotional point of view”explains ivete.

Come closer is a real invitation to Carnival in the five tracks that make up the work. Cria Da Ivete, Só Love Na Cabeça, Rua da Saudade, Se Saia And drumeach song portrays the sensations and feelings of this party which is the face of summer, where joy predominates and love is infinite.



All songs were recorded in early January at Pia Housein savior. Ivete collected more than 600 guest fanss, as well as friends, journalists, influencers and celebrities, such as Regina Casé and family, Deborah Secco, Mariana Ximenes, Lázaro Ramos and Tais Araújo, Sarah Oliveira, Carla Perez and Xanddy, Luis Miranda, Rafa Kalliman, Carla Cristina, Márcia Castro, Tia Má, Vitão, Gominho, Judepaulaamong others.
