With health problems, Navarro will not continue touring with Jane’s Addiction, the band of the creator of Lollapalooza
Jane’s Addiction announced line-up changes for the group’s upcoming tour of South America, which will pass through Lollapalooza Brazil. the guitarist dave navarro will not be present at the presentations and will be replaced by an old acquaintance of the public: Josh Klinghoffer.
josh was one of the members of Red Hot Chili Peppers after leaving John Frusciante. With the guitarist’s return in 2019, he was released from the band. Currently, he tours with the Pearl Jam as one of the backing musicians.
Led by Perry Farrellcreator of Lollapalooza, Jane’s Addiction mentioned health problems navarrobut did not specify: “As a band, we are doing great, writing new songs and more in tune than ever. We hope that dave can be with us when he feels healthy and ready.”
“For the foreseeable future, our brother Josh Klinghoffer will be present at shows on the West Coast, South America and other international shows to be announced soon. We want to thank you for being with us during these thirty-odd years,” the statement added.
Jane’s Addiction plays on March 25th, Saturday, at Lollapalooza Brazil. The date is sold out and also has Blink 182 and tame Impala between the attractions. The 10th edition of the event takes place at the Interlagos Circuit.
