Procon asks for explanations after problems buying tickets for RBD show


The Eventim company will answer customer questions and clarify sales information




THE Procon SP notified Eventim Brasil São Paulo Sistemas e Serviços de Inputos LTDA of the problems registered by customers who tried to buy tickets for the RBD band concert through its sales platform.

The company has been summoned to inform if it has identified the origin of the problems and what measures have been taken.

In a statement, Procon-SP also said it had requested other information from the company, such as:

• Proof of the load of tickets available for sale (pre-sale and sale to the public), in all modalities and sectors, for each day of the event;

• How to process and pay for tickets sold through its website and physical sales channels;

• Evidence of the mechanisms adopted by the company to avoid pre-sales and the sale of individual tickets and/or lots to “exchangers” and outsourced companies;

• Detailed information on the costs related to the acquisition of each type of ticket, detailing all the values ​​of the incident – taxes, goods, promotional discounts, among others, presentation;

• Copy of the advertising material and supports to publicize the event, published on the media and on social networks by the organizer and by the partners in presales and sales.

Tickets sold out and fights

The group has performances scheduled for November 17 and 18 at St. Paul and on the 19th, a Rio de Janeiro. Entering the Eventim website, the ticket platform, the “sold out” notice appears for the first dates in São Paulo and Rio.

After tickets for RBD’s first show in São Paulo quickly sold out, the band announced that they would have another performance in the city on November 16th.

On the Internet, fans complained about what happened. “It’s very humbling,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

In Rio de Janeiro, the purchase of tickets ended in a fight. A video is circulating on social media showing two people attacking each other in line to buy tickets. The Military Police were called in to control the confusion. According to the Secretariat of State of the Military Police, the agents of the 31st BPM (Recreio dos Bandeirantes) were summoned for a disturbance in the queue. According to the company, the mess was controlled by the police.

The Soy Rebelde 2023 tour marks the reunion of the Mexican group, which has nearly 20 years of history. The band will visit 26 cities in the United States, Mexico and Brazil. Only one member, Alfonso Herrera, will not participate in the tour.
