Patrick Kielty has been spotted on a date with businesswoman Michelle McManus, more than a year after he announced his split from his wife, Cat Deeley. The TV presenter, 55, was seen enjoying a pub date with the fashion merchandising company owner, 47, last week.

Kielty left a pub in north London with McManus after the pair shared a cosy three-hour dinner date and glasses of wine. He was dressed smartly in a blazer and an unbuttoned shirt and followed behind his date, who wore a loose white T-shirt and jeans, with a red sweater tied around her shoulders.

An insider said the pair, who according to pub punters looked "very in-sync," met over the summer after being introduced by a friend.

Who is Michelle McManus

McManus set up the fashion merchandising company Rolling People in 2011 with her ex-husband. The firm represents brands including Veja and Bash. She separated from her husband four years ago, while Kielty confirmed his own separation from Deeley in a joint statement in July 2025.

"It's still early days, but they get on really well," the insider told The Sun. "Michelle has been separated from her husband for four years and Patrick has been single since splitting with Cat. They were both single when they met."

Kielty and Deeley's split

In their joint statement last summer, Kielty and Deeley insisted that "no other party" was involved in the breakdown of their marriage. They said they would "continue to be united as loving parents" to their children, Milo, 10, and James, eight.

Although the statement was released in July, Kielty's family had previously told the Daily Mail they "knew" his marriage to Deeley was over in March 2025, when she failed to attend the funeral of his mother, Mary, in Dundrum, County Down.

Kielty and Deeley first met in 2002 when they hosted the BBC talent series Fame Academy together, but it was not until a decade later that their friendship turned into a romance. They went public with their relationship in May 2012 and were married that September in an intimate ceremony in Rome. The couple lived in Los Angeles for 15 years before moving back to the UK in 2020, and Deeley took over from Holly Willoughby on ITV's This Morning four years later.

Cat Deeley's own rumoured romance

Deeley sparked romance rumours of her own recently by cosying up to film industry executive Charlie Coleman at a BST Hyde Park concert in London in July. Coleman, who works for Amazon MGM Studios, placed his hand on Deeley's shoulder at the Lewis Capaldi gig, and the pair were seen laughing and enjoying drinks together.

Sources have previously said Deeley was open to the idea of dating but would not sign up to an app.

Co-parenting and what comes next

In rare comments about her new single status, Deeley revealed last week that she had enlisted a nanny to help raise her sons. Sharing an insight into her life as a single mother, she said she and Kielty co-parent their boys "50-50."

"It's about being as organised as you can possibly be. I have an amazing nanny too," she told The Sunday Times. Deeley also admitted the admin of co-parenting can keep her awake at night, adding: "Everybody's doing their best."

The Daily Mail recently revealed that the former couple have put their home in Hampstead, north London, on the market for £5.25 million, after buying it for nearly £5 million in 2023.
