Jewelry designer Periklis Kondylatos has shared a rare photo from his summer vacation alongside his partner of four years, Elina. In the snapshot posted on social media, the designer poses with Elina and captioned the image using only a red heart.
Although Kondylatos generally avoids exposing his private life to publicity, he chose to make an exception to show followers how the couple is spending their summer outings. Elina has been at his side for the past four years.
Views on relationships and aging
In a recent interview, Kondylatos outlined his philosophy on interpersonal relationships and how feelings evolve over time. Speaking generally about romantic relationships, he stated that he is in love and believes a relationship must have a spiritual foundation where partners treat each other as life companions who help each other evolve spiritually. He added that viewing a partner as a sex object leads to decline, noting that while physical focus is understandable at age 20 or 30, a person at 46 needs a spiritual support.
Reflecting on marriage and family, the 46-year-old designer said he connects marriage directly with having children due to his age. He noted that whether he has children is up to God, adding that while he strongly desired children in the past, he has now stopped saying so. He said he tries to be humble, noting that he is trying rather than claiming to be humble, and accepts whatever God brings.
