Spanish journalist Sara Carbonero has worn a handcrafted La Mansa hat while exploring Quito on her ongoing vacation across Ecuador.
The television presenter stopped in the Ecuadorian capital after traveling through several landscapes across the country. Carbonero toured Quito wearing the brand's Japala Love Saint Tropez hat model, paired with a striped shirt worn open over a classic white t-shirt and relaxed wide-leg jeans.

The accessories choice stood out as the central feature of her casual sight-seeing outfit. The Spanish fashion label La Mansa has turned its artisanal hat designs into one of the key trend items for the summer season, with the Saint Tropez wide-brim natural palm fiber model retailing for 79.00 euros.
Ecuadorian artisan craftsmanship

The Jalapa model is among the most recognizable creations from La Mansa. The brand produces its designs using natural palm fiber, with specific models handcrafted directly by artisans in a small community within the province of Guayas in western Ecuador. The local production makes Carbonero's selection particularly fitting for her travels through the South American country. The hat features a structured crown, a wide brim, and customizable decorative ribbons that update traditional hat aesthetics with a modern look.
Summer styling beyond the beach

Carbonero is not the only high-profile figure wearing the piece this season. Influencer Rocío López also wore the same hat during a trip to Bali, Indonesia. The choices reflect a broader shift in summer fashion, where wide-brim natural fiber hats are being styled away from traditional beach environments and integrated into daily urban wear with basic t-shirts, button-up shirts, and dresses.

The accessory marks the latest addition to Carbonero's travel wardrobe during her South American stay. Earlier in her journey, she wore a pair of 500-euro Loewe luxury sneakers and a 22-euro Zara top combined with cargo pants and rain boots while visiting the Amazon rainforest, before heading to her next unannounced destination.
