Colombian vallenato singer Silvestre Dangond will perform seven concerts across the United States in December as part of his tour El baile de todos. The tour will begin on December 3 in Charlotte, North Carolina, and conclude on December 13 in San Jose, California.
The concert schedule includes performances in Charlotte on December 3, Atlanta on December 4, Miami on December 5, Tampa on December 6, Houston on December 11, Los Angeles on December 12, and San Jose on December 13. Featured venues along the route include the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in the Miami area and the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles.
Tickets for the US performances go on sale this Friday. According to the tour promoter, Dangond sold out all six concerts during his previous tour leg in the United States.
Tour History and Record Sales
Before expanding into North America, the concert series toured across Colombia, Spain, and several Latin American countries. Highlights of the international run included a packed performance at El Campin stadium in Bogota, the national capital's principal sports and entertainment arena.
The tour is a direct continuation of Dangond's previous project, El ultimo baile. According to the tour organization, that earlier production was the highest-grossing tour in Colombia's history for an artist of any musical genre.
Dangond is one of the most prominent performers of vallenato, a popular music genre native to the Caribbean coast of Colombia that features accordion rhythms, traditional percussion, and storytelling. Over a decades-long career, he has helped bring the traditional Colombian sound to international concert stages.
Grammy Recognition and Collaborations
In 2025, Dangond won his fourth Latin Grammy award for the album El ultimo baile. The Latin Grammy Awards are presented annually by the Latin Recording Academy to recognize excellence in Spanish- and Portuguese-language music recordings.
Following the award-winning album, Dangond released collaborative songs with a wide selection of Latin music artists. His recent musical partners include Carin Leon, Emilia, Fonseca, Sebastian Yatra, Manuel Turizo, Elena Rose, Grupo Frontera, and Morat.
Alongside his touring schedule, Dangond opened a museum dedicated to his life and musical career in Valledupar, Colombia. Located in northeastern Colombia, Valledupar is widely recognized as the traditional capital and historic cradle of vallenato music.
