Ukrainian television presenter Solomiya Vitvitska, who is expecting her first child at 46 years old, has addressed online accusations regarding her pregnancy in an Instagram video. In her caption, Vitvitska stated that while some comments hurt or cause reflection, others make her smile. She added that negative comments reflect the trauma and pain of the writers, wishing them happiness and noting it is impossible to please everyone.
The video addressed claims from social media users who speculated that her pregnant belly was fake and that a surrogate mother was carrying her child. Vitvitska joked in response that her belly changes shape, folds, and flips over every morning, adding that she found the claims very funny.
Surrogacy and IVF Allegations
Vitvitska also responded to criticism regarding whether she used in vitro fertilisation to conceive at her age. She explained that she views IVF positively, had considered the option, and would have shared it publicly if used, but clarified that her pregnancy occurred naturally.
News agency UNIAN previously reported that the presenter had shared her estimated delivery date.
