Sophie Habboo spent Wednesday on a family outing in Notting Hill with her eight-month-old son Ziggy and her father Patrique.

The former Made In Chelsea star headed through West London to enjoy lunch at a cafe with her father and baby boy. Habboo dressed casually for the trip, wearing a maroon bomber jacket and flared leggings.

Patrique is a half-Iraqi, British business leader working in interim executive management. Habboo shares Ziggy with her husband Jamie Laing. The couple welcomed their son in December and have been enjoying their time together as a family of three.

Podcast departure
The family lunch follows Habboo's tearful announcement last month that she is leaving her Wednesdays podcast. Habboo said she made the decision in order to prioritize spending time with Ziggy.

Habboo has hosted the show since 2021 alongside her best friend Melissa Tattam. During the announcement, Habboo broke down as she explained to her listeners that she wanted to balance being the best mother she could be with the opportunities she has.

"This is actually going to be my last episode," Habboo said on the podcast. "I love you guys so much, and I've had the best time, and I'm so grateful for all your support, and honestly I feel like we have just got the best community."

Tribute to listeners
Habboo thanked her audience for returning each week and spreading the word to help the show grow.

"I look back at all of the episodes and all the fun we've had and the dilemmas, and you've literally grown up with both Melissa and I, and I couldn't be more grateful, that you've come back every single week," Habboo said. "You're the loveliest girls and boys, and I couldn't love you more and you've really helped me grow as a person and I'm going to miss this so much."

Habboo explained that she needed to step away to focus on motherhood, though she noted the podcast will continue.

"But as you know, I've obviously become a Mum, and I've realised that I just need to prioritise my son and just spend as much time as I can with him," Habboo said. "I just feel it's the right time for me to step away. But the podcast isn't going anywhere."
New co-host
Habboo stated she plans to return as a guest all the time. She is handing the baton to close friend Ruby Adler, who will join Tattam as a permanent full-time co-host.

Paying tribute to Tattam, Habboo said: "I'm so glad we met on MIC six years ago, and just, you're the bestest friend ever and thank you so much for doing this with me, and thank you for carrying the podcast, doing it with me. I've had the best time ever."
Instagram statement
Habboo also addressed her departure in a statement shared on Instagram, calling the show her first ever podcast and the best experience.
"This is hard to write," Habboo wrote. "I got to host with my best friend and the best team ever and for that I am forever grateful!!! It's helped me grow as a person, in so many ways I can't explain."
She reiterated her desire to find a balance between her career and raising her son.
"Since having my son Ziggy eight months ago I've had to balance being the best mum I can be and all my opportunities that I feel so grateful to have," she added. "Sadly this means stepping away from Wednesdays, whilst I am sad to be leaving as a co-host I know I am leaving the podcast in the best hands ever with Melissa and Ruby (our true OG tiny aka Tiny Tim)."
Habboo closed her statement by thanking her listeners for their endless support and love.
"I love Wednesdays and all of you listeners so much," she wrote. "I cannot wait to watch the show continue to thrive and grow in the best hands! Thank you truly from the bottom of my heart for making this show so unbelievably special."
