Tegan Kynaston made a rare public appearance on Saturday, stepping out with her four-year-old son Otto at a meet-and-greet event hosted by her husband, radio presenter Kyle Sandilands.
The 55-year-old held a Kyle Sandilands Live subscribers event at Gould Street in Strathfield South, posing for photos with fans at the AIIMS Creator Hub.
Tegan, 40, arrived flashing her toned abs in a cropped white T-shirt, which she paired with faded blue jeans sitting high on her waist. She carried a black designer handbag as she held Otto's hand and greeted attendees.
Clips shared to Instagram showed Tegan walking into the studio with Otto before letting the tot run to his father, who crouched down to scoop him up into the air.
Elsewhere in the footage, Kyle was seen interacting with fans and posing for photos with them. His mother, Pam, was also in attendance, along with the crew from Kyle Sandilands Live.
The meet-and-greet announcement
Kyle first announced the meet-and-greet late last month, sharing a photo of himself with his Kyle Sandilands Live crew.
"Kyle wants to meet as many fans as possible to celebrate the launch of his new show and personally thank you all for the love and support which really helped him get through the last few months," the caption alongside the photo read.
"Come down from 10AM to 2PM on Saturday, September 12 and line up to meet Kyle and then hang out with the team, grab some merch and mix with the community."
The caption went on to say that only Kyle Sandilands Live subscribers were permitted to attend, though they were welcome to bring their children, partners or a plus one.
Kyle Sandilands' health update
Kyle is a veteran Australian radio presenter best known for co-hosting a breakfast show on KIIS FM. The meet-and-greet came after he revealed that a brain aneurysm he was diagnosed with last year has grown.
The presenter shared the update on his Kyle Sandilands Live subscription show, having taken time off work for a medical checkup that did not deliver the result he had hoped for.
"So, today's the day I've been dreading. Well, it's grown a little bit, which isn't great news," Kyle said in a live feed from the clinic.
He later told listeners he was taking time to process the update, which showed the aneurysm had grown by a further millimetre.
"[It] seems small, but I didn't want to get that, wasn't the thing I wanted to hear," Kyle said. "I was hoping, and in my mind, I thought, 'I've got this, I'm gonna make it smaller,' but it was bigger."
He said doctors were not yet prepared to attempt surgical removal, as operating carried greater risk than leaving the aneurysm alone.
"A life of bad choices has probably led me here. I'm full of regret. I do not want to die and I do not want to be carved up," he said.
Timeline of Kyle's aneurysm diagnosis
Kyle first went public with his condition in February last year, revealing the aneurysm was four millimetres in size. It has since grown by 25 per cent over the past year and a half.
At the time, he shocked listeners by revealing he required immediate surgery after doctors detected one aneurysm on his brain and a second in his chest.
In January, Kyle said the outlook was more positive, telling the Daily Telegraph that the aneurysms had stabilised.
"They re-looked at all those scans and said it's good," he said. "It's good because when they first found it they weren't sure whether I had it for 30 years or 30 days."
He added that the chance of complications from surgery on the brain aneurysm remains high, noting that doctors would have to "cut his face off" to operate.
