Streaming platform Prime Video has released first-look images for The Terminal List Season 2, starring Chris Pratt, and confirmed an October 21 release date.

All eight episodes of the military action series will launch simultaneously across more than 240 countries and territories, including Spain, on October 21, 2026. In some of the newly unveiled stills, protagonist James Reece appears noticeably weathered after years off screen.

Shift to international espionage
The second season adapts True Believer, the second novel in the book series written by author and former Navy SEAL Jack Carr. The narrative picks up after Navy SEAL Commander James Reece completes his personal revenge list from the first season, which debuted on Prime Video in 2022.

Moving away from the personal revenge thriller framework of the original episodes, the story expands into an international espionage plot. The new season takes Reece across the Indian Ocean, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe as he confronts a conspiracy linking Moscow to Langley, Virginia. The secret network also connects directly to Reece's own family history.

Returning cast and new additions
Chris Pratt leads the cast once again while also serving as an executive producer on the series. Returning cast members from the initial season include Tom Hopper as Raife Hastings, Constance Wu as Katie Buranek, Dar Salim as Mohammed Farooq, and Luke Hemsworth as Jules Landry.

Actor Gabriel Luna joins the production as Freddy Strain, alongside an international ensemble that includes Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Martin Sensmeier, Arnold Vosloo, and Shiraz Tzarfati.

To maintain authenticity during complex tactical sequences, the production continues to employ military veterans who advise and assist on the action scenes.

Prime Video action slate
The announcement arrives as Prime Video expands its lineup of action television programming. The streaming service recently premiered the fourth season of Reacher, with its upcoming spin-off series Neagley scheduled to arrive following the conclusion of Reacher's current run in September.
