Tori Spelling has quit the 90210MG podcast she co-hosted with Jennie Garth, sparking fan speculation about a falling-out between the longtime friends and former Beverly Hills, 90210 co-stars.

Spelling, 53, and Garth, 54, launched the rewatch podcast in 2020, recapping episodes of the 1990s teen drama in which they both starred. Spelling played Donna Martin and Garth played Kelly Taylor. The pair were midway through season 8 of the 10-season series when Spelling announced her exit earlier this week, citing a desire to pursue other opportunities. She encouraged fans to keep listening as Garth continues hosting solo.

Fans were skeptical, with some calling the departure strange and disappointing. Garth addressed the situation on Friday but did little to quiet the feud rumors. She said she was sad Spelling was not finishing out the series with her, adding that they had started it together and that she was being honest about her feelings. Garth also said she was happy for Spelling for choosing herself.

Podcast producer Amy Sugarman confirmed the exit was entirely Spelling's decision. Sugarman said the team could be disappointed that Spelling would not be there for seasons 9 and 10 while still wanting her to be happy and excited about her next projects.

In 2020, Spelling told People that she and Garth had been friends for 30 years, describing their bond as the one relationship that had lasted through decades of change. The Daily Mail said it had reached out to representatives for both women for comment.
