Irish TV presenter Vogue Williams noticed a large diamond was missing from her wedding ring while recording a live episode of her podcast on Friday.
The 40-year-old star looked down at her hand during filming for Vogue and Amber before shouting out in disbelief: "Oh my god."
Holding her sparkler up to the camera to show viewers the empty setting, Williams explained: "There's a huge diamond missing from my wedding ring."
Williams quickly regained her composure and planned her next steps to recover the missing jewel, telling viewers: "Ok I will have to ring everywhere I was today. Well these things happen, what can you do? What can you do?"
Her co-host Amber looked concerned as Williams inspected the band, adding: "It's out of your control."
Williams married former reality television star Spencer Matthews, 38, in Scotland in June 2018. She is a prominent Irish media personality who hosts popular podcasts and television broadcasts across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Preparing for birth
The podcast incident occurred as Williams reaches the final stages of her pregnancy. The star revealed this week that she could be giving birth to her fourth child, a baby boy, as early as this weekend.
Ahead of welcoming her new son, Williams shared a video on Instagram showcasing her pre-birth preparations. The TV star wore a pink underwear set while putting on fake tan as she neared the end of her pregnancy.
Lathering her skin in self-tanner from her own product brand, Williams joked: "I'm going to meet my baby lovely and bronzed."
Addressing her decision to tan so close to her due date, Williams admitted: "I'm aware this sounds ridiculous but I have been considering when to do my tan. I could be giving birth this weekend so I need to have my tan on!"
Williams and Matthews already share three children together: sons Theodore, seven, and Otto, four, as well as daughter Gigi, six. Matthews first found fame on the E4 reality television series Made in Chelsea before launching a non-alcoholic drinks business.
Last-minute baby name switch
The impending birth comes shortly after Williams revealed that she and Matthews changed their baby boy's name at the last minute, leaving them with no name selected.
Speaking on her My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast this week, Williams told co-host Joanne McNally that relatives had weighed in on their original choice. The couple had planned to name their fourth child Elvis, inspired by the legendary rock and roll singer Elvis Presley.
Williams told listeners: "Do you know what? Big news from my week. We have changed our baby name - we have no name. You know the name was pretty full on and I loved the name. Spenny has been getting a few phone calls from family members regarding the name."
Her co-host and pal McNally quipped: "I just don't think Gary is that controversial."
Williams explained that despite her love for the name, she felt unsure about how it would affect her son later in life. She said: "I honestly thought though because it's been on my mind I just, I haven't ever been 100 per cent comfortable with it. But because as much as I love the name it's such a big name to take on when you're little or trying to get a job when you're older."
She added: "I have got other very cool options, though that was my favourite name," before confirming: "We were going to call the baby Elvis, I love it."
