He Killed Motorized Police Returns With “Gold Medal”the second preview of his new studio album to be released in May 2023.
After releasing “Tantas Cosas Buenas”, and after winning the Latin Grammy for Best Rock Album last year, He Killed a Motorized Police returns with a theme that presents a melancholy journey that tells the story of a life, a melodic, weightless journey traversed by a powerfully charged desire for redemption, turning defeat into light at the end of the road.
The single was recorded and mixed in 2022, at Sonic Ranch studios in Texas, USA, by Eduardo Bergallo, then mastered by Hernán Agrasar at Puro Mastering in January of this year.
“Our plan was to let the song grow and develop as it appeared in the recording room. I had the harmonic and melodic base and half-finished lyrics. The guys subtly added to each instrumental line and the end of the mood was better than expected, even the final guitar solo adds a melancholic epilogue that adds warmth and strength,” says Santiago Motorizado.
The cover is entrusted to Facundo Barrionuevo, brother of Santi Motorizado.
