Universal Pictures Italy has released the final trailer of The Super Mario Bros. Movieanimated film born from the collaboration between Nintendo And Lighting (Sing, Despicable Me) to be released in Italian cinemas next April 5, 2023.
After years of gestation, plans for an animated film based on Mario and his friends began to materialize in 2018 with the announcement of a partnership between Nintendo and Universal. He also contributed to the realization of the project Lighting Entertainmentthe animation studio behind hits like abomination to Me, Minions And single.
In the direction of Aaron Horvath And Michael Jelenic (Producers of Teen Titans Go! The Movie ), from a screenplay by Matthew Fogel (The LEGO Movie 2: The New Adventures, Minions 2 How Gru Becomes Despicable), in the original version Chris Pratt Mario will be called, Anya Taylor-Joy will be Princess Peach, Charlie’s Day will be Luigi e Jack Black is Bowser’s voice; Keegan-Michael Key lends his voice to Frog, Seth Rogen And Fred Armisen to Donkey and Cranky Kong respectively. SA Kevin Michael Richardson Kamek ea’s role is up to him Sebastian Maniscalco to Spike. Mario’s original voice actor, Charles Martinetwill have a cameo in the film, it has also become official that the voice of the plumber in the Italian edition will be provided by Claudius Santamaria.
