34 years later, Martin Scorsese is about to realize his return to the official selection with The flower moon killers. The director must necessarily create the event for this feature film with an impressive cast, which marks a new collaboration with his two favorite actors, Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio. The flower moon killers : killing for oil
Adapted from the book of the same name by American journalist David Grann, The flower moon killers return to the murders of Osage tribesmen in Oklahomain the early 1920s. Crimes committed by rancher William Hale (Robert De Niro), with the help of his nephews Ernest (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Bryan Burkhart (Scott Shepherd), in an attempt to recover oil discovered on Mollie’s family lands (Lily Gladstone), Ernest’s wife.
Brendan Fraser, John Lithgow and Tantoo Cardinal complete the cast of this highly anticipated film, which Leonardo DiCaprio already considers a masterpiece. The flower moon killers exit in French cinemas on October 18, 2023before being released on the Apple TV+ platform.
