They are two romantics. No doubt. And this is demonstrated in “Yo No Fumo”, the new song by Ricardo Montaner for which he had the collaboration of Carlos Rivera.
It is of course a romantic pop ballad, in which the great vocal performance of the two artists stands out.
“I think a lot of people will identify with this song and it will be a reflection of their grief. There are a lot of lonely hearts and people putting up a defensive shield so they don’t break their hearts anymore,” said Montaner about this premiere.
While Rivera added: “Maestro Montaner is a reference for all singer-songwriters of my generation and it is a great pleasure to be able to share this song alongside him. I’m sure people will really appreciate this collaboration.”
Written by Montaner himself with Luigi Castillo, Yasmil Marrufo, Edgar Barrera and Richi López (who also produced the song), “Yo No Fumo” has everything to leave its mark.
The video of the single, directed by Marlene Rodríguez Miranda de Montaner, was filmed in Miami and produced by Hecho A Mano Music. Oh and has the special participation of Argentinian model and actress Stefi Roitman (wife of Ricky Montaner).
