The other day, endocrinologist Arseniy Rusanov, in an interview with one of the Russian publications, named a list of products that prevent you from finally saying goodbye to overweight. He attributed them to high-calorie foods, which we are all so used to.

The doctor also identified the main “friends” of a slender figure, which should be highlighted in the menu of everyone who loses weight. These include tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, radishes, cabbage, carrots, celery, whole wheat bread and pasta, poultry, lean white fish, legumes, cooked mushrooms, seafood and unrefined vegetable oil for dressing.

For rapid and effective weight loss, the endocrinologist advised adhering to the principle of “proper nutritional plates”, developed by scientists at Harvard University. According to this scheme, a 20-centimeter plate should be filled half with vegetables and a small amount of fruit, ¼ should be taken for protein products, and another ¼ for a healthy side dish. Salads are allowed to fill with a small amount of oil, and do not forget to drink at least 2 liters of liquid per day.
