The protagonist of ‘The Last of Us’ is in talks to join the new cast
Pedro Pascal been working on big projects, like the most recent success The Last of Us It is The Mandalorian. According to deadlinePedro Pascal would be in the final negotiations stage to join gladiator 2sequel to a film from the 2000s that now has a sequel.
Scheduled for release in November 2024, the film will take place in a future scenario, 25 years after the original, giving greater focus to Lucius (child actor Spencer Treat Clark, in the 2000 work), the son of Lucilla (Connie Nielson) who grew up inspired by Maximus (Russell Crowe), hero of the original film.
Directed by Ridley Scottthe cast of the first Gladiator it included Joaquin Phoenix as Emperor Commodus, and Oliver Reed, who plays the slave trader Proximus.
