This Is Us found the end in “Us,” 18th episode of the sixth season, released last Tuesday, 24, in the United States. The chapter in question was the 106th of the production, and showed the three brothers in the recovery of a tragedy and also arrived at new insights about life in that process.
On twitter, Dan Fogelman took the opportunity to thank the fans and react to “Us.” “The end of This Is Us it was a bittersweet but lovely march for those responsible for working on it,” he wrote. “We’ve had so many occasions to toast, give gifts and say sentimental things to sentimental other people at a sentimental moment.”
“To watch This Is Us it’s a contact sport. In a way, I’ve always felt like this show was a hug between those who make it and watch it,” he continued. “That sounds incredibly corny and – logistically – would be awkward and impossible. But you understand me. I hope like [o final] satisfy you and make you think, feel and even smile. I hope to see you feel as complete as this show has made us feel all these years.”
