Riverdale: What does the show’s protagonist think about cancellation?

After the seventh season, Riverdale has come to an end – KJ Apa, the interpreter of Archie, revealed what he thinks about cancellation

KJ Apainterpreter of Archie Andrews in riverdale (2017), revealed thoughts on ending the series. After seven seasons, production of CW was canceled, amid mixed reviews from the cast itself.

In an interview with Entertainment TonightApa expressed that he was upset with the ending: “I feel sad. It will be very difficult to say goodbye to the Archie, riverdaleto the set, our team.”

“We created a lot of memories in this series, both for ourselves and for the fans. It will be quite difficult,” he added.

Despite this, he believes the timing for the end was appropriate, as other actors on the series have indicated: “It was perfect – everything great has to come to an end at some point. I feel good about that.”

The rest of the cast shouldn’t be surprised or disappointed by the news. According Cole Sprouse revealed, part of the actors wanted to end the production.

“Most actors would be happy to finish the series, put an icing on the cake. I’m not a creative force in riverdale, I have no control. We arrive on set, often they give us the script the same day we shoot the scene, and that’s it,” she explained.

the sixth season of riverdale had the first five episodes aired in 2021 and featured intense plot twists and a crossover with The Chilling World of Sabrina (2019), as Kiernan Shipka joined the cast as Sabrina Spellman.

Lili Reinhart (Betty Cooper), KJ Apa (Archie Andrews), Camila Mendes (Veronica Lodge), Cole Sprouse (Jughead Jones) and Madelaine Petsch (Cheryl Blossom) return to roles. In Brazil, the series airs on Warner Channel and is available on Netflix.
