The announcement came from the mouth of the authorities of the Foundation, who had the visit of the Colombian singer in the educational program “In schools”which took place in Miami.
There, Camilo learned about the Foundation’s efforts to promote the education of music creators around the world through scholarships, grants, and music education programs. And decided to help.
“We are grateful to have the support of artists like Camilo, who have forged successful musical careers and are now giving back by supporting others,” said Manuel Abud, CEO of The Latin Recording Academy®.
While Camilo added: “I feel very lucky to be able to contribute to the artistic and creative development of the new generation of Latino artists. It’s something that makes me very happy because as long as they grow and have the educational tools for their development, we invest in the future of our sound”.
And he continued, “There’s a lot more talent than opportunity in the Latin world, and I’m thrilled that the gap between one thing and another can be narrowed.”
