On Sunday, Vinona Jad spoke about the death of her mother and singing partner, Naomi Jad, who passed away on April 30 after a long battle with mental health issues.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, she wrote about the pain and helplessness of her mother’s death. First ask “What do I know?” “Imagine your life coach asked that question,” he went on to answer in various ways.
“I know the pain of losing a mother to 4/30 suicide is so great that I often feel like I will never be able to fully accept and renounce the truth she left behind as she did. “The story of magic can’t end like this,” he wrote, adding a heartbroken emoji.
He also said he was committed to his “personal healing” and vowed to “break the cycle of dependency and family dysfunction”, especially for his first grandchild, who was born on April 13.
“I know I feel so helpless, especially now,” he added. “I know, oddly enough, ‘love can build a bridge.’ I’m screaming at myself for the song my mom wrote for the fans here tonight at the farm.”
He added that he would not hesitate to ask for help if he needed it.
“I know I can’t handle this pain alone and it’s good to ask for help,” he wrote. “I will continue to fight for my faith, for myself, for my family, and I will continue to act and sing.”
Winona’s sister Ashley Judd also spoke in an interview about Naomi’s death. good morning america Earlier this month.
“Our mom couldn’t stop until her teammates were inducted into the Hall of Fame,” Ashley said. “This is the level of catastrophe that was happening inside him, because the barrier in his heart couldn’t penetrate between the views they had, and the illness told him a lie, it was so convincing.”
