Summer Game Fest, the premier digital celebration of indie and studio video games, has revealed its developer and publisher schedule in anticipation of next month’s event.
Jeff Keeel will present a two-hour live world premiere on June 9 at 11 am. Tribeca Festival, Humble Games, Netflix, PlayStation, Steam, Warner Bros. Games, Sega, Skybound Games, Electronic Arts, Studio MDHR, Capcom and more.
“This is the third year of Summer Game Fest and I’m excited to be able to bring the community together to celebrate everything we love about gaming,” said Kigley, who also oversees programming.
The event will also feature an exclusive standalone showcase, the Day of Devs. Their offerings will include a look at the new IP from London-based development studio ustwo Games, known for monument valley s Alba: wildlife adventure.
“Last year we had an incredible amount of unique and varied games and this year will be no different,” said Tim Schaefer, co-founder of Day of the Devs and co-founder of Double Fine Productions. “Well, a little different, in the sense that it could be better. So probably different and probably better. “Because now we are smarter and a lot of people are helping us!”
The Summer Game Festival can be streamed on all major platforms including YouTube, Twitch, Twitter and Facebook. The exhibition is also shown at Imax theaters in the United States and Canada.
