After stepping away from screens in recent years to focus on her personal life, Jennifer Lawrence is back in shape in 2023 with several projects. After the drama Causewaytransmission directly to Apple TV+it is in a schoolgirl and crazy comedy that we will find the protagonist of the saga The Hunger Games : The challenge (Without hard feelings in OV).
The film directed by Gene Stupnitsky (Good guys) features Jennifer Lawrence as Maddie, a young Uber driver who finds herself stranded after her car is impounded. Distraught, she ends up answering an ad for a vehicle: wealthy parents are willing to give her a car, if she agrees to date their introverted 19-year-old son, Percy (Andrew Barth Feldman), and deflower before entering college, in so that it can integrate more easily.
But the task seems more difficult than expected given the man’s very shy nature. Despite his perfect plasticity, Maddie will have a job. And these situations will give life to comic sequences that promise to be particularly funny.
