The 76th edition of the tony awardsthe biggest and most prestigious theater award in the United States, took place last Sunday, the 11th, with a presentation by Ariana DeBosewinner of Oscar 2022 in Best Supporting Actress for the role of Anita in Love sublime love (2021), directed by Steven Spielberg.
It was a night of historic firsts, with J. Harrison Ghee in “Some Like It Hot” It is Alex Newell in “Shucked” becoming the first non-binary artists to achieve prestige, with their victories in Best Actor in a Musical It is Best Supporting Actor in a Musicalrespectively.
