Cleopatra mission is renewed thanks to Cinematic enhancement
21 years after its theatrical release and its 14 million viewers, Asterix and Obelix: Cleopatra mission is about to go back to the cinema. As Alain Chabat announced in a hilarious false advertisement, the feature film has a second youth thanks to Cinematic enhancement, the new magic lotion from 4K Laboratories rich in trace elements which has allowed the cult film to regain all its vigor and splendour. An even “bigger, more beautiful and stronger” show according to its director.
For the modest sum of 5 euroseven after the Fête du Cinéma, spectators will thus be able to rediscover the fierce competition between César (Alain Chabat) and Cléopâtre (Monica Bellucci), the legendary monologue by Otis (Édouard Baer), the confrontation between Numérobis (Jamel Debbouze) and Amonbofils ( Gérard Darmon) or the disputes between Asterix (Christian Clavier) and Obelix (Gérard Depardieu) in 4K HDR, with Dolby Atmos audio.
