Harrison Ford returns as Indiana Jones
Fifteen years later Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal SkullHarrison Ford picks up one last time the essential role of the archaeologist in a fifth part. In Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destinythe hero finds an old enemy, the Nazi Jürgen Voller (Mads Mikkelsen), launched in the footsteps of the Archimedes quadrant.
An artifact who is also looking for his goddaughter Helena Shaw (Phoebe Waller-Bridge), who asks her godfather for help. Indiana Jones’ chance to get his whip, leather jacket and fedora back one last time. Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Toby Jones and Thomas Kretschmann complete the cast of the blockbuster, for which James Mangold (Logano, Le Mans 66) succeeds Steven Spielberg as director.
Ke Huy Quan’s surprise
During the premiere of the film held in Los Angeles, Harrison Ford had a nice surprise. As he answered a few questions on the red carpet, the actor was delighted to find Ke Huy Quanthe interpreter of Demi-Lune in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
When his former playmate came up behind him, Harrison Ford said:
You have grown so much!
He added about Ke Huy Quan and his comeback (via Allocated):
I am very happy for him, he is a good boy. He was a great actor as a kid and still is today, I’m really happy for him.
The recently awarded actor Oscar for best supporting actor in Everything everywhere all at once I remembered with a touch of nostalgia the preview of the second part ofIndiana Jonesstating:
I still remember the launch party ofIndiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. I was 12 and had so much fun.
