Scientists are constantly arguing about how much water our bodies need. And yet, supporters of the “2 liters a day” theory are even more numerous. At least because it disciplines and helps you ditch sugary juices and sodas in favor of clean water.
The classic formula for calculating daily water intake is probably familiar to you: for every kilogram of weight, there should be about 30 ml of water drunk. It turns out that if you weigh 60 kg, you need to drink at least 1.8 liters of water per day.
But if we talk about the day after the party and a large amount of alcohol drunk, the formula changes. Experts recommend drinking at least 50 ml of water per kilogram of body weight. That is, in the case of the same weight of 60 kg, the day after the party you should drink up to 3 liters of water.

Such a significant increase in the norm is explained by dehydration of the body against the background of drinking alcoholic beverages. You need to restore the normal balance of fluids in the body, otherwise you will lose strength all day, nausea, headache and dizziness.
Also, due to a lack of fluid, metabolic processes in the body will slow down – and with them will come swelling, problems with the gastrointestinal tract and a set of extra pounds.
