Harry Potter : where is the saga?
From 2001 to 2012, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint played the young (and then not so young) wizards in the saga Harry Potter. Eight films adapted from JK Rowling’s novels which was a monstrous popular success and grossed seven billion dollars box office receipts. From the end of the saga Harry Potter in 2012, the Hogwarts universe returned to the trilogy Fantastic animals, from 2016 to 2022. A prequel saga centered on the wizard Norbert Dragonneau (Eddie Redmayne), which has not been as successful. The reviews are more mixed, and the saga pays off $1.8 billion at the box office. Especially the third part, Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secretsonly reported 404 million dollars recipe, visibly burying the saga.
From, HBO extension announced that the license would return in the form of a series. In fact, the studio is currently working on a series Harry Potter, where each season will adapt one of the volumes of JK Rowling’s literary saga. Since that announcement, fans have wondered if some original cast memberslike Daniel Radcliffe, he’ll be back.

Recently, Daniel Radcliffe confirmed yes unlikely to appear in the HBO series. During a speech on the microphone of Comicbook. comthe actor developed his thoughts:
I understand that they are really trying to start over. I’m sure the creative team behind this series will want to make their mark and probably won’t want to bring old Harry back to life. So I’m not even looking for it from my side. But of course I wish them all the luck in the world and I’m very glad I passed the baton. But I don’t think the show needs me to physically go through it.
Obviously no nostalgia in this new production Harry Potter. Like the series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power from Amazon Prime Video, which does not bring back any actors from the Peter Jackson filmsseries Harry Potter will be disconnected from movies and will be responsible for delivery a completely new vision of the magical world.
