He announced it. And he threw it. Abel Pintos presented “Alta en el Cielo”, the album in which he recorded and filmed eight emblematic national songsmainly with their scores: the Argentine national anthem, the anthem to General San Martín, the anthem to Sarmiento, the march of San Lorenzo, the march of the Malvinas, Aurora, To my flag and Salute to the flag.
For the interpretation of these eight songs and patriotic anthems, he had the participation of the Academic Orchestra of the Teatro Colón and the direction of Ezequiel Silberstein. The recording took place in the auditorium of the Usina del Arte.
All material produced is hosted on the universally accessible website www.himnosargentinos.ar from where it can be downloaded for free, free of copyright and royalty, by the more than 70,000 educational institutions in the country and by the community at large.
Also, in addition to this material, an audiovisual documentary will be produced in which Abel himself recounts briefly and in a simple and familiar way the historical references of each of these musical pieces as well as the events or heroes to which they refer. The recordings of these videos were made in the beautiful library of the legislature of Buenos Aires.
Different public and private actors collaborated in this project and, of course, all the talent of Abel.
