The eagles are soaring for the last time! One of the most iconic bands in the world of rock, The Eagles, announced this Thursday (6), his farewell to the stage with the tour The Long Goodbye.

Schmit, Vince Gill It is Deacon Frey – son of the deceased Glenn Freyone of the founding members of the band – with the opening shows done by the band Steely Dan. Thirteen shows were initially announced for the United States, starting with a September 7 concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

The Eagles and the 52-year career
During an illustrious career spanning more than five decades and six albums, the Hotel California (1976) and its eponymous title track remain their best-known and best-loved music. Despite winning two awards Grammyenter the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998 and receive the Kennedy Center Honors in 2016, the band made it clear that what matters to them is their fans.
