Cancer can appear in anyone. However, some occupations have a particularly high risk of developing cancer. Scientists have compiled a list of potentially dangerous jobs for women, and it includes some rather non-obvious professions.
The occurrence of oncology is influenced by many factors: from genetics and general health to lifestyle and ecology. Experts believe that the potential development of malignant neoplasms is also influenced by a person’s professional activity. For example, some women have an increased risk of developing ovarian cancer due to inactivity and regular exposure to chemicals.
This conclusion was made by researchers from the University of Montreal in Canada. Scientists checked the health status of 1370 women aged 18-79. 491 participants were already undergoing treatment for ovarian cancer and 879 of the remaining women were in perfect health.
- In second place in the “cancer ranking” are female builders, who are also quite often in contact with chemicals, but work less often in this field.
