Monarch Legacy of Monsters: Godzilla returns to the first images of the series

The MonsterVerse of Godzilla and Kong continues

Although it already includes four feature films, Legendary Pictures’ MonsterVerse, which launched in 2014, continues. After Godzilla versus Kongthe legendary kaijū will be soon again in a film slated for 2024, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empireas well as in the series Monarch: Legacy of the Monsters.

In this show, a brother and sister walk in their father’s footsteps to understand his ties to the mysterious Monarch organization, an agency tasked with tracking powerful creatures scattered across the globe. Their search will lead them to Lee Shaw, played by Kurt Russell and his son Wyatt in two distinct eras. This army officer has secrets about Monarch. The program covers more than fifty years and has ten episodes.

The famous monster is revealed in one of the first photos of the series developed by Chris Black (Separation) and Matt Hamlet (Hawk eye). Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Anders Holm, Joe Tippett and Elisa Lasowski round out the cast.

Monarch: Legacy of the Monsters does not yet have a release date AppleTV+. In the meantime, check out the first images from the series below.
