The Fall of the House of Usher: Mike Flanagan’s new series revealed
This new program consisting of eight episodes centers on Madeline (Mary McDonnell) and Roderick Usher (Bruce Greenwood), heads of the Fortunato pharmaceutical empire. When Verna (Carla Gugino), a mysterious woman from the past, comes into their lives and begins to kill their heirs, terrible family secrets resurface. Mike Flanagan therefore remains in his favorite theme, once again interested in the demons that can poison and rot a lineage.
The series is revealed through a trailer as mysterious as it is bloodywhere Carla Gugino (The Haunting of Hill House, Jessie) appears more terrifying than ever and determined to satisfy his thirst for revenge. Among the other regular characters from the director’s filmography present in the casting we find Kate Siegel, Henry Thomas, Annabeth Gish, Zach Gilford, Bruce Greenwood, T’Nia Miller and Rahul Kohli. Mark Hamill, Willa Fitzgerald, Paola Núñez and Malcolm Goodwin complete the cast.
