The Paper House continue with Berlin
After the success of The Paper House, which lasted from 2017 to 2021, in two seasons consisting of a total of five parts, Netflix did not intend to simply conclude the series and not continue to exploit it. The streaming service has decided to delve into the world of thieves from the National Mint Factory in Spain, offering a spin-off, Berlin.
La casa de papel: how did the Spanish series end?
The title obviously refers to code name Andrés de Fonollosa (Pedro Alonso) In The Paper House, who at the beginning of the series acts as a boss inside the building, while “the Professor” (Álvaro Morte) gives his instructions from outside. Later in the series, we learn that Berlin is the Professor’s half-brother and that he was previously wanted. for broken jewelry stores and armored vans.

As we could see in The Paper House, Berlin is not a very sympathetic character, who uses his power during the robbery. But despite his lack of empathy and his reprehensible crimes, he remains charming and sufficiently popular in the eyes of the public so much so that Netflix dedicates a series to him that will take place before the events we know.
When will the series be released on Netflix?
After several short teasers, the streaming platform revealed a trailer (video in the article)also allowing you to have the airing date of the show: December 29th. In the video we find Berlin, more enthusiastic than ever as he prepares a major jewelry robbery with his team. A move that will take place in Paris!
The trailer doesn’t give much information about the plot, but it lets us know set the tone and to quickly introduce the other protagonists around Berlin. In addition to Pedro Alonso, we will therefore see Tristán Ulloa, Michelle Jenner, Begoña Vargas, Julio Peña and even Joel Sánchez in front of the camera.
Berlin is available on Netflix from December 29th.
