What’s new on Canal+ in October?

As the All Saints holidays approach, Canal+ has thought of children (and their parents) with two of the greatest animated films of recent months. They will thus have the pleasure of (re)discovering Puss in Boots 2: The Last Missionon the platform from October 6th. In this explosively staged new adventure (see our review of the film), Puss in Boots discovers that his passion for adventure and his contempt for danger have ended up costing him dearly: it consumed eight of his nine livesand I lost count in the process.
To get back on his feet, the bushy hero sets off in search of his life. He embarks on an epic adventure at the edge of the Dark Forest with the aim of unearthing the mythical Wishing Star, the only one capable of restoring his lost lives. But the search for him doesn’t seem so simple and he will have to face many dangers, starting with the terrible Goldilocks and his gang of the Three Bears…
But the highlight of the cinema this month of October on Canal+ is obviously Super Mario Bros, the movie . THE the biggest French box office hit of 2023 with almost seven and a half million viewers will be available on the platform next October 20thperfect timing for the All Saints school holidays!
In this colorful adventure, which will delight fans of the little plumber’s universe as well as newbies (see our review), the latter and his brother Luigi find themselves immersed in a magical universe through a mysterious conduit. But when the two find themselves separated, Mario begins a relationship frantic search to find his brother. She can count on the help of the adorable Toad, inhabitant of the Mushroom Kingdom, but also on Princess Peach, a determined warrior at the head of the Kingdom. They will have to join forces to fight the terrible Bowser…
Still on the cinema side, two more great successes are expected on Canal+ for 2023: Dungeons & Dragons: Honor for Thieves on October 13 and the French film I will always see your faces on October 31st which moved more than a million spectators in theaters. Also available on the platform: Hum Lightning on October 6, the complete Rocky on the 26th e Another 10 days without mom on October 27.

The series
On October 16th Canal+ will launch its new original creation called Money and blood, created by Xavier Giannoli and worn by Vincent Lindon. Based on the investigative book of the same name by Fabrice Arfi, this series 12 episodes of 52 minutes he is interested in the “scam of the century”, i.e. the carbon tax fraud, which caused the State to lose at least 1.6 billion euros between 2008 and 2009.
For zombie fans, Canal+ will reveal it from October 24thpart 2 of season 8 of Fear the walking dead. This is the final season of the spin-off series Walking Dead. Two days later, it’s the second season of the excellent, but very violent series Gangs of London, designed by Gareth Evans (The raid), which will hit the screens.
