House of the Dragon season 2: fans are excited
The season of the series aired last summer House of the Dragonprequel to game of Thrones, was an immense success with the public. Audiences around the world were fascinated by it epic episodes which revealed the intrigue and tensions preceding the famous war of succession within the Targaryen dynasty, a historical event in Westeros better known as “The Dance of Dragons”.

The death of the latter, devoured by the formidable dragon Vhagar under the orders of Aemond Targaryen, son of Alicent Hightower, not only upset the fate of the main characters, but also highlighted the extent of the tensions and rivalries between the two clans.

We learn it today, in a report from Varietythat filming season 2 of House of the Dragon it’s well finished. Production, in fact, had not been affected by the strike that had paralyzed Hollywood for many months.
And since good news never comes alone, we learn, again through this Variety report, that HBO is now aiming for a summer 2024 release of season 2. Two years will therefore have passed between the first two seasons of the prequel game of Thrones. An eternity for fans eager to finally witness the Dance of the Dragons.
