The artist from western Buenos Aires had already presented the single during the 2023 edition of the “Suena TikTok” festival and little by little she revealed some verses of the song through social networks.
The story of the single is exciting from the start. While producing his studio album, Yami began composing a song for his mother, remembering the moment she decided to leave home to pursue her dream of becoming an artist.
In the midst of this process, L-Gante (who was going through a difficult time in his personal life) decided to join the song after Yami sent it to him, and ended up writing and recording his part despite the difficulties he was crossing. .
“’No Llores’ is one of the most special songs on the album. It is dedicated to those people who leave home for a dream and with this promise to our family that we will do this and everything will be okay. That we are doing it for them and for ourselves,” Yami Safdie said.
