Harry Potter returns (again) to TF1
As winter approaches, TF1 renews its tradition by announcing the rebroadcast of the saga Harry Potter. Thus, from October 24th, and every Tuesday evening, spectators will have the opportunity to follow, once again, the adventures of the famous magician with glasses with the airing of the eight films. This programming is not the first time for the channel, which has already focused several times on the entire saga (as well as on its secondary channel, TMC).
Started by JK Rowling, the saga begins in a universe steeped in magic and innocence, where a young orphan (played by Daniel Radcliffe) discovers he is a wizard and that an extraordinary destiny awaits him. The first films, full of wonders and discoveries, fascinated audiences with their magical and childlike atmosphere.
However, from the third work, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, the saga took a darker turn. The dangers have become more present and the atmosphere has become tinged with horrific elements, reflecting the growing maturity of the main characters and the issues they face.
A recent disappearance
This new broadcast of the saga Harry Potter will have a special flavor this year as Michael Gambon recently passed away. The actor, who took over the role of Professor Dumbledore from the third film, after the death of Richard Harris, marked the saga with his charismatic presence. For fans, this is another painful passingafter those of Alan Rickman, Richard Harris and Robbie Coltrane.
The rebroadcast of the saga Harry Potter on TF1 is a strategic choice for the channel, which can count on a loyal and varied audience. Despite numerous retransmissions, the craze for the world of the wizard with glasses does not fadeproof of the richness and depth of this cinematic work that has spanned generations.
Let’s just hope that this year the channel reaches the end of the broadcast and doesn’t do like it did in 2021.
