With a national and international cast, this new show shows what it means to be a real carioca
How To Be a Carioca, a new series about the beauties of Rio de Janeiro and what it’s like to live in the Marvelous City, premieres this Wednesday (18) on Star+, in full. The production is based on the book of the same name by Priscila AnnGoslinhas artistic direction by Carlos Saldanha (River, The ice Age), general management of Joana Mariani (The Smell of the Drain), in addition to starring the actor and singer Your Jorge.
In six episodes, we learn about the stories of foreigners from Germany, Argentina, Israel, Angola and Syria trying to adapt to the city’s local culture through Francisco (Your Jorge), the best Rio guide they could have, responsible for making this integration. Check out the trailer:
